I studied Media computing at UC San Diego. Upon graduation, I worked at UC San Diego’s Center for Community Health coordinating the production of educational videos and leading a PhotoVoice after school program.
I then worked at the University of San Francisco as a technology trainer. At USF, I received an M.A. in Digital Technologies for Teaching and Learning. I then had the opportunity to lead the design and video production of EnviRN-Evidence, an online program for health professionals about environmental health risks funded by the National Library of Medicine. I now work in the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley as an instructional designer. I guide SPH faculty in the use of educational technology tools and the application of digital learning methods in online education. I also oversee online courses from the University of California – Mexico Health Initiative.
